How it Works
Step 01
Getting comfortable
Before your session date, we will chat together about the wishes for your session. You can share with me the personalities of your little ones or the details you want to highlight of your business. We can talk outfits and any personal items you might want to include. This is all about you having the most relaxed photo session you can imagine - so we'll tick off any questions you may have before the day of the shoot.
Step 02
Be your beautiful selves
On the day of the session I will be there all the way to help guide you. There won't be any strict poses or 1,2,3 cheese. The best photos are always right at the moment the camera is forgotten - and thats the goal! Just lot's of fun, interaction and relaxed natural energy swirling around us - we will flow together as a team. Capturing those beautiful little moments you experience within your family or business every day.
Step 03
Editing your photos
After your session I will work through your images to create your own beautiful online gallery. Each image will be professionally edited and enhanced to display the very best storytelling image collection. Turnaround time to you seeing your online gallery is 2 weeks from your session date.
Step 04
Choosing your photos
Your photos - you choose. Your gallery will be posted online with a password for privacy. You view the images in your own time and select your favourites. It's easy, just mark the images with a favourite ♡ and these are your choices. Once you're set you'll receive access to download your images- straight to your phone or computer.

Note - We ask for 50% deposit to secure your session date at the time of booking - full payment is required 7 days prior to your booked session.
Location's within a 15 mile radius of Hull are included in package price, for distances beyond please enquire for details.

Where can I have my photos taken?You can have your photographs taken at a location of your choice. That might be at home, or in the garden or at the local beach for families. For businesses it might be in your shop, office or creative space. Natural light is important so we can chat through options and ideas together to make the best decisions. *** Please note - Locations beyond a 15mile radius of Hull will incur a fuel surcharge.

How many people can be in a photo session?All sessions are limited to a maximum of 5 participants. A session will include the group photographs - parents and three children for example - but I will also aim to capture other vignettes, the children together and individually etc.

Are you pet friendly?Yes! I love the animals. Whether it's a family session or a business session, your furry friends are welcome to get involved.

How can I prepare for the session?After you book if you have any questions just reach out and we can discuss all the details - location, clothing, items to bring along to the session. Not props necessarily but perhaps if we were at the beach it might be nice to bring along bucket and spade or prepare a small picnic if thats what you would normally do. For businesses you can gather some items that represent your brand. Maybe your painting tools if you are an artist or the most popular products you sell if you are a shop owner.

My home/workplace is small, can I still have photos taken there?If you feel your space is small that's okay, the main focus is the amount of natural light. If your space is quite dark or lacks natural light it will almost certainly be better to choose either an outdoor location for your session, or perhaps you could use a friend or family members space. Since we don't carry backdrops or flash lighting we will be seeking beautiful little pockets of light in your space to shoot in.

What if it's raining?If the weather is a terrible downpour on the day of your location session we can certainly postpone - nobody is their happiest self soaked through in soggy clothes. If however, the weather is just grey, there is no reason the shoot can't go ahead - in fact a few clouds can be best, less squinting and harsh shadows is never a bad thing when being photographed.

How long after the shoot can I get my photos?We will turn your images around within 2 weeks of your session date. They will be posted online in a private passworded gallery. There you can view and select your favourite images. Once selected they will be made available for downloading directly to your devices.

What should I wear?This is something people worry about but for me it's simple. Wear something you feel great in. Wear something you feel comfortable in. Your families normal style. For business wear something that represents your brand. If your salon is monochrome and muted maybe stick with a classic black. If your plant shop is vivid and vibrant go for those bold colours. It's all about your authentic style..

Can I reschedule my session date?If a session needs to be rescheduled we require a minimum 7 days notice. Please let us know as soon as you know a session date won't work - the sooner we know the more likely we're able find you another time slot to suits your needs.

If I cancel will I lose my deposit?Yes, with a complete cancellation the deposit is non-refundable. Things happen and we understand delays might be necessary. You can always postpone or reschedule sessions with notice without losing your deposit.

My specific date isn't showing in the calendar?If a specific date you require isn't showing as available in the calendar, just drop us a message on the enquire page and we'll do our best to help with availability.

Why can't I see past the next couple of months in the calendar?We open up our calendar a couple of months in advance once every month. For example: March bookings will open up beginning of January. If you would like to discuss booking for a date you don't see please send a message via the enquire page and we will do our best to accommodate.

Why do I need to pay a deposit?We ask that you pay a deposit to secure and confirm your time slot. Our time is precious as is yours. Deposits help us manage our schedule and prevent no shows.

When do I need to pay in full?Full payment is due 7 days prior to your booked session.
