When I decided to do a photoshoot with Holly, it wasn’t just about getting some nice pictures for my business. I was at a point in my journey where things were shifting internally, how I saw myself, how I wanted to show up, and the message I felt called to share.
I knew I needed imagery that reflected that version of me, not a polished or perfect version, but the real, grounded and evolving one. Holly felt like the person who would truly see that, after she had captured me delivering my content at an event. She did not just capture how I look, but who I am and what my work stands for.
What I wanted Holly to capture was authenticity, strength, softness and truth. The in between moments. The energy behind the work. The feeling of someone who has walked through challenges and come out more aligned, more self aware and more purposeful. I didn’t want anything that felt staged or overly curated, I wanted something honest and connected, something people could feel when they saw it.
the experience
The experience itself was incredibly grounding. Holly has a way of creating a space where you feel completely at ease, seen and safe to just be yourself. There was no pressure to perform or get it right, which meant I could fully drop into myself. It felt less like a photoshoot and more like a moment of stepping into and owning who I was becoming. There was a real sense of calm, trust and a bit of magic in how it all unfolded.
Since the photoshoot, I have used the images everywhere, across my website, socials and content, but more than that they have become a visual anchor for my brand and my journey. They remind me of that moment in time when things clicked into place.
They have helped me show up more confidently and consistently because what I am sharing feels aligned with what people see. I have also had so many people say they feel a connection before they have even worked with me, which is exactly what I hoped for.
Holly did not just take photos, she helped bring Reignite to life in a way that words alone never could.
