I always knew the benefits of having a professional brand shoot to use for my business content (signalling a certain level of credibility, to complement my messaging and tone of voice, etc.), but, to be honest, I really put it off.
I didn't want to have corporate-type headshots taken because I didn't feel like it matched my personal brand, and I thought that was the only approach to a brand shoot.
I came across Roots + Tales on social media after seeing the shoots Holly had done for other business owners. Each shoot was unique, authentic, and really portrayed the personality of the person on camera. I decided that if I was going to need a shoot, I wanted it to be done by Holly.

Holly took the time to understand my business but also who I am as a person. I actually feel like the process of having a brand shoot helped me define my personal brand. Even though the idea of being in front of a camera fills me with dread, I genuinely enjoyed the day of the shoot. Holly has a way of making you almost forget she has a camera in her hand. Not only did it put me at ease, but it probably improved the quality of the content she captured. I received a huge library of images and B-roll-style videos that l've been using for my business socials and my website since.
